Luna

We were blessed to bring home a Great Dane puppy, Luna, at 9 weeks, and then got doubly blessed by bringing Nicole into our home to help train her.
We started the training right away with Nicole and were happily surprised at how quickly she responded to Nicole. Nicole worked to train US, so that we were able to communicate with Luna and so that Luna knew she could trust us and learned to respond to our requests.

Nicole worked with us to both get Luna comfortable staying in place, walking in the heel position next to us and helped us purchase all the right equipment.
We were quite surprised that Luna learned how to make in the same spot every time she went out—so we don’t have to walk very far before she pees and poops. Every time!! And….she learned to ring to bell to tell us she has to go out. Both incredible feats that I would have never thought possible.

Nicole took us on outings, to get Luna more comfortable with people and other dogs and different sounds. Luna is quite timid and fearful, as many Danes are, but with Nicole’s guidance, she is learning to be comfortable with all different surroundings.

With Nicole’s help we also were able to help Luna learn her “place” in the house. This is taking some extra work—as when food is served in the house, Luna likes to partake in the meals!! We are still working at this, but it’s getting better!!!

Nicole is serious  and loving….both important traits in a dog trainer. We completely trusted Nicole right away, and with her help and guidance we have a thoroughly sweet and well behaved  puppy.

Dippy

I reached out to Nicole in June, 2023. She was recommended by my vet as someone that could help our dog. Dippy had been struggling with anxiety and had become aggressive with our other dog, Ollie. The aggressive episodes were becoming more frequent and I knew something had to change.

There was a lot of barking, laying on furniture and tension in the home regarding when would the next aggressive episode happen.

Dippy spent 5 weeks at Nicole’s house for intensive training and Ollie spent the last week with them to get some basic training as well. Nicole sent us lots of pictures and updates during their stay which was very reassuring.

Nicole met with us as a family before they came home to work with us on establish a set routine for the dogs and educating us in what Dippy’s triggers were.

After they came home we worked hard to maintain a routine which included walking the dogs twice a day. We had never been able to do that before due to their behaviors.

Nicole was always available by phone if I had any questions and made visits to our home to follow up on how Dippy was doing.

Dippy will always have some internal struggles but we now know how to manage these and help her be a confident, happy dog.

I would highly recommend Nicole!  She is extremely knowledgeable and also is very passionate with the dogs that she trains.

Poppa Rose

Nora and I are novice dog owners. Before delivery of our beloved puppy, we read books and studied on line on how to train a young dog. What this research proved to us that we needed help with the training and we wanted raise the puppy the best way possible.

Nicole came highly  recommended by a local veterinarian and, after an interview, became our partner in the training of our puppy and, frankly, us.

She showed much patience and care in the training process and the results have been rewarding. Our puppy, Poppa Rose, is now an integral member of our family and shows good manners and respect to use and her new home.

We could not have achieved these results without Nicoles patience, guidance, and instructions.

I highly recommend Nicole. I am a veterinarian and owner of Gardens Animal Hospital and she has helped us tremendously with so many patients. Not to mention, she has the kindest and best trained German Shepherds. I recently adopted a beagle and she has been so great helping me train my kids as well so we can be consistent. She understands dog behavior well and can work with you 1 on 1 with the specific challenges your pup is facing. She has truly been fantastic.
